MA Family Support

Course Overview

Leeds Trinity University’s MA Family Support is a postgraduate course that teaches students the importance of welfare and social care for people from different households. Students will be introduced to the study of childhood and research methods related to it, which could include best practices for keeping families together by providing access to clothing, food, healthcare, and even shelter.

This course is under the faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, and students can develop into reasonable healthcare practitioners who also assist with family planning for families who are intentional about their size. Additionally, students will study the assessment and intervention strategies in family support; they will also learn to manage family support.

Learning in this course is through lectures, seminars, and practical sessions. Assessment methods include written essays, portfolios, and presentations, and they will also work on a dissertation, which will prove their research capabilities.
