MSc Advanced Therapeutics and Public Health

The MSc in Advanced Therapeutics and Public Health is a course made for professionals with a scientific background in pharmacy, nursing, and biomedical science and focuses on the medical and policy sides of healthcare, helping students gain a deeper understanding of advanced therapeutics and public health. 

The programme prepares students with strategic abilities to handle global health issues and create new healthcare policies and solutions, while using on-campus teaching and online activities to present the course. Students will learn through structured learning and independent study, with 16% of the total study hours spent on structured sessions. 

Assessments are coursework-based, with approximately 90% of a student’s grade coming from assignments and 10% from exams, this may change with elective subjects and is reviewed within 20 working days.

Candidates must submit a personal statement, academic or employer reference, and optionally, a CV to give a picture of their work experience.

Grade Requirements:

• Candidates need at least a second-class (2.2) undergraduate degree in a relevant field which includes, but is not limited to, degrees in pharmacy, nursing, pharmacology, biology, biomedical science, biotechnology, or other related specialisations. 
• In some cases, relevant work experience may be considered for applicants with a different degree.

English Proficiency:

• Candidates need an IELTS academic overall score of 6.5, with no element below 6.0. 
• PTE and TOEFL are accepted.
• Pre-sessional English language courses are available for those who do not meet the direct requirement.
