Course Overview

The MA Computer Animation at Kingston University is a course that helps you develop both creative and technical skills for work in animation and digital media. This includes areas like film, video games, virtual reality, medical animation, and simulator design.

Entry Requirements for Bangladeshi Students

  • In some cases, applicants who have no first degree but more than five years of experience in the field may be considered. 
  • In this case, the applicant must provide strong evidence that they have the motivation to complete the course and the ability to work at a master’s level. 
  • All applicants must, if requested, be able to demonstrate – either through qualifications, work experience or a portfolio of works – a solid understanding of digital media.

Grade Requirements:

  • To study this course, a 2:2 or above honours degree in animation or a related subject which includes significant 3D computer graphic content, such as moving image, illustration, 3D design, computer-related design or architecture, is required.

English Proficiency:

  • International students are expected to show proficiency in English by having an IELTS overall score of 6.5 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 6.0 in each of the components.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee to study an MSc in Computer Animation at Kingston University for the 2025/26 academic year is £17,600. Kindly note that tuition fees are provisional and are, therefore, subject to change.

Scholarships
