BSc Psychology

Course Overview

At Keele University, the BSc Psychology programme is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), which is the first step to becoming a chartered psychologist. The programme is made to give students an understanding of the human mind, brain, and behaviour, with topics such as development, social interaction, and cognition, helping students to learn how to analyse, evaluate, and carefully review theories and research in psychology.

Learning in the programme involves physical classes, self-paced learning, and practical lab sessions while assessment involves coursework, examinations, and a final-year research project. This final project is a compulsory requirement to gain BPS accreditation and it allows students to carry out their original research.
