BSc Nursing Studies Child

The BSc Nursing Studies (Child) prepares students to become qualified Child Registered Nurses, working closely with children, their families, and their caregivers. The curriculum concentrates on nursing care for children and their families, from birth through to the young adulthood stage. The course includes practicals in intensive care units, family homes, and international emergency contexts.

Learning methods include lectures, seminars, workshops, and practical sessions to ensure a comprehensive understanding. Assessment includes examinations, class tests, essays, management reports, case studies, presentations, and group projects. Students can also undertake practice placements in the Glasgow Children's Hospital, community nursing services, and school nursing.

• Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds must demonstrate English proficiency, with an IELTS score of 7.0 overall and 5.5 in each component.

The annual tuition fee for international students taking the BSc Nursing Studies (Child) is £15,200.
