Course Overview

The MSc Psychotherapy and Counselling – Contemporary Creative Approaches at Edge Hill University is designed to enable students to explore the benefits of creative arts as therapy through the use of drawing, painting, guided imagery, movement, drama, writing, poetry and sculpture. Entry Requirements for Bangladeshi Students

Applicants are required to submit a personal statement stating their reason for applying to the course and their experiences with a reference from an academic tutor or employer. Applicants can also provide other documents that reflect their background and work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants are expected to hold a degree equivalent to UK first-class or upper second-class honours (2:1 or above) in counselling, psychotherapy or a related discipline.
  • Students with lower degree classifications and/or significant professional experience may be admitted at the faculty’s discretion, subject to providing additional written evidence of their abilities to study at the master’s level.

English Proficiency:

  • International applicants whose first language is not English must show proficiency through an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0.
  • The university also accepts equivalent English qualifications.

Cost of Study
