BSc Sports Business Management

The BSc Sports Business Management at Edge Hill University is designed to help students see theory in practice through work experience opportunities.  It equips them with the skills and know-how needed to implement and manage local, national and international sports businesses, programmes and events.

Students will gain specialist knowledge in the management of sport and physical activity and explore the effective delivery of community sport and sports events. They will also gain valuable practical experiences in the business of sport, including the planning, implementation and evaluation of sports events and programmes.

In their final year, students will have the opportunity to focus their assessment projects on a topic of their choice. They will graduate with skills that employers are searching for both within and outside the sports industry. 

You need to submit a personal statement explaining why you are interested in studying the programme and provide any other relevant information about your academic background or any experience you have in the field.

Grade Requirements:

• The typical requirement is 104-112 UCAS points. These points can be obtained through various qualifications, including A Levels, BTEC Extended Diploma at DMM, T Levels, or the International Baccalaureate.
• Equivalent qualifications are also accepted.

English Proficiency:

• If English is not the language you usually speak, you will need to demonstrate your English language ability. This can be through an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with a minimum score of 5.5 in each part.
• Other similar English language tests, such as PTE and TOEFL, are also accepted.

The tuition fee for international students taking Sports Business Management at Edge Hill University is £17,000 for each year.
