Entry Requirements for Bangladeshi Students

Grade Requirements:

A typical offer is 112 UCAS points from at least two A-levels or equivalent or BTEC National Diploma/ Extended Diploma at DMM, plus five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Mathematics or equivalent. 

Other equivalent international qualifications are also accepted

English Proficiency:

If English is not your first language, an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band (or equivalent) when you start the course is essential.

Cost of Study

In 2025/26, the annual tuition fee for BSc Cyber Security from De Montfort University is £16,750 per year for international students.

Scholarships

De Montfort University offers different scholarships to help lower the cost of studying for a degree at the university. One of which is the Global Access Scholarship.

The Global Access Scholarship for 2025/26 entry rewards eligible prospective international students joining a full-time undergraduate and postgraduate taught degree, offering a fee reduction for either the first year of study or for all years of study if entering the first year of a bachelor's degree. This award is only applicable to international students and does not require a separate application.
