BSc Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security

The BSc Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security at Coventry University is created to equip students with a strong theoretical and practical understanding of cyber security, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and security operations.

Students will explore modules such as cybersecurity fundamentals, programming, networking and computer architectures, information security management, ethics and legal frameworks of cybersecurity professionals and foundations of computer science.

The course is conducted through applied learning which involves a combination of lectures, seminars, and project-based practical classes. The assessment methods include essays, group work, presentations, reports, projects, coursework, exams and dissertation.

Coventry University is a public research institution located in Coventry, England. The university was formerly known as Lanchester Polytechnic from 1970 to 1987, and then progressed to Coventry Polytechnic until it gained university status in 1992.

Grade Requirements:

• Applicants typically require 128 UCAS tariff points, which can be obtained from qualifications like A-levels, BTEC, T Levels, or the International Baccalaureate.
• Alternatively, other relevant qualifications are considered.

English Proficiency:

• Applicants who are non-English speakers need an IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
• Alternatively, other tests such as TOEFL or PTE are also accepted.

The tuition fee for this course is  £19,850 per year for international students. Tuition fees are reviewed annually and may change.

Coventry University awards scholarships to international which offer a reduction in tuition fees. The Vice-Chancellor Undergraduate Scholarships which offer up to £4,000 tuition discount, is an example of scholarships, provided by the university to international students.
