The Cardiff Metropolitan University BSc Sport Coaching (with Foundation) programme is designed to prepare students for the BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching degree. The foundation year is for applicants who do not meet the required points (or equivalent) for direct entry or mature students who have been out of formal education for a period of time.
After completing the foundational year, students will progress to the three-year honours degree, which focuses on developing critical coaches who understand the social and relational nature of the profession.
