BSc Podiatry

Course Overview

This BSc Podiatry degree course holds professional accreditation from the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Royal College of Podiatry. Podiatrists are specialist healthcare professionals who focus on the foot, ankle, and lower leg, providing care to improve patient mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

The course teaches using a good blend of theory and practical work, including workshops, clinics, and simulation centres. Students complete 1000 hours of practical work through placements in NHS hospitals across Wales and in private clinics. Students will be assessed in various ways, such as case reports, presentations, clinical examinations, and a large research project on a topic of your choice.
