LLB Law with American Legal Studies

Course Overview

The Birmingham City University LLB Law with American Legal Studies programme is designed for those wishing to become solicitors or barristers. This degree aligns with the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) standards and also fulfils the Bar Standards Board's requirements for an undergraduate law qualification.   • The standard offer for applicants is 112 UCAS Tariff points, including A-Levels, BTEC, T-Levels, Access to HE Diplomas, and A-level equivalent international qualifications.

English Proficiency: 

  • For applicants whose primary language is not English, an IELTS score of 6.0 overall is required, with no individual component scoring below 5.5. 
  • Other equivalent SELT English language test scores are also accepted.

The annual tuition fee for international students taking the LLB Law with American Legal Studies at Birmingham City University is £17,690.
