Overview

The BSc International Business Management at Bangor University is designed to give you the skills necessary to conduct business globally. Due to the internet and other technology, trade can occur across borders. This increased the demand for professionals who can oversee business operations on an international scale. 

During this course, you will cover the principles of international business, learn about the factors affecting international trade, and understand how to navigate different economies. You will study real organisations to understand the management practices and theories, and eventually know how to lead a global business.

While teaching and learning methods differ between modules, this course combines lectures, seminars, workshops, and case studies with work experience. Bangor University takes practical learning further by offering an optional placement year or international experience for this course. Assessment methods include examinations, reports, presentations, coursework, reviews, projects, learning journals, etc.

Entry Requirements

These are the standard entry requirements to study BSc International Business Management at Bangor University:

Bangor University accepts alternative Level 3 qualifications such as City & Guilds, Access, and Cambridge Technical Diplomas. Also, international applicants may tender school-leaving qualifications that are equal to A levels/Level 3 and/or college diplomas.

Grade Requirements

To apply, you need UCAS tariff points between 104 and 136 from a level 3 qualification. You may submit an A-level, DMM-DDD in the BTEC Extended, or the International Baccalaureate Diploma. However, GCSE Maths at grade C/4 is required where the level 3 qualification is not enough.

English Proficiency

Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS score of at least 6.0. TOEFL or other equivalents are also allowed.

Cost of Study

The tuition fee for the 2025/2026 academic year to study BSc International Business Management at Bangor University is £19,000 for the first year of study.
