Do you have a natural talent for the performing arts; dancing, acting, and musical theatre? Then this course is for you. Packed with the essentials, it was created to turn talents into professional artists. Through a well curated teaching curriculum, you learn the Advanced performance techniques such as script interpretation and character development, choreography and movement skills, theatrical production and stagecraft, and professional audition and presentation skill.

Entry Requirements

Typically, Applicant who wish to study FdA/BA (Hons) Performing Arts must have any of the following qualifications:

  • Two A Levels

  • Level 3 qualification (e.g., BTEC Extended Diploma)

  • NVQ Level 3

  • Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Creative and Media

  • Access to Higher Education Diploma

Also, you may be required to attend an audition to demonstrate your skills.

 

Grade Requirements

 

  • Total of 48 UCAS points from two full A Levels

  • Minimum of one full A Level at 32 tariff points (grade C)

  • Four GCSE passes at grade 4 (formerly grade C) or above-must include Maths and English

 

Preferred Subject Areas: Dance, Performing Arts, Drama

 

English language requirements

 

Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS score of at least 6.5. TOEFL or other equivalents are also allowed.
