To study B.Sc Biochemistry in the UK, you'll typically need any of these qualifications:
An A-Levels ( or equivalent) result in Biology, chemistry and a third science subject like physics or mathematics.
A strong GCSE result in English and mathematics.
An International Baccalaureate with high grades in Biology and chemistry.
Grade Requirements
A minimum of 120 UCAS tariff point s
AAB-BBB in GCE A-Levels.
BTEC Level 3 National Diploma DM in any subjects with an A-level at grade B in: Biology, Human Biology, Applied Science, Chemistry or Physics.
Minimum of 30 points in the International Baccalaureate Diploma, including 5 in either Higher Level Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
English Requirements
Non-native English speakers may need to demonstrate proficiency in the language, typically through an IELTS score of at least 6.5. TOEFL or other equivalents are also allowed.
