MBA in Tech Leadership

The MBA in Tech Leadership at The University of Law is a Master level programme designed to cultivate business management and leadership skills specifically within the fast-paced technology sector. The curriculum provides a comprehensive understanding of organisations, their management, and the evolving global context, with a particular focus on the unique challenges and opportunities within technology industries. 

Students will learn to critically assess and leverage emerging technologies, understand their business applications, and navigate associated legal complexities and risks. Learning and assessment on the programme are student-centred, employing intensive case analysis, simulations, practical application of business tools, and collaborative group activities.

Furthermore, the programme incorporates 'MBA Challenge' modules that allow students to practise and integrate the business skills learned across different modules, mirroring the complexities of real-world scenarios. Candidates are required to supply a personal statement detailing their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies. A suitable academic or professional reference is also required. Students have the option to submit their CVs to demonstrate relevant work experience.

Grade Requirements:

Applicants should hold a UK Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a minimum classification of 2:2 or equivalent qualifications. In addition to this, applicants must possess at least three years of relevant professional or managerial experience. Successful completion of an interview to assess their suitability for and potential contribution to the course is also a mandatory part of the admission process.

English Proficiency:

Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent to an overall IELTS score of 6.5 or above, with a minimum score of 6.0 in each component. The University of Law also accepts equivalent scores from other recognised English language tests such as TOEFL, PTE Academic, or SELT.

The tuition fee for international students undertaking the standard one-year MBA in Tech Leadership programme at The University of Law is £20,000. For international students who choose to enrol in the two-year programme option, which includes Professional Practice, the total tuition fee is £22,000.

The University of Law provides a range of merit-based international scholarships and bursaries to recognise exceptional international students. The International Bursary, which offers a reduction in tuition fees, is automatically awarded to eligible students who are classified as non-British international students and have received an offer of a place on a programme.
