LLB Law with International Business
The University of LawLondon Bloomsbury, United Kingdom
Course overview
The LLB Law with International Business at the University of Law combines legal studies with a global view of business. Students learn core legal topics such as contract law, tort, criminal law, public law, and equity, and also take modules in international business. These business modules include subjects like Human Resource Management, Marketing, Leadership, and Strategic Management. The degree is designed to help students understand how the law works within businesses across countries. Lecturers bring real business and legal experience into class, helping students solve business-law problems in a realistic way. In Year 3, students can choose to study a business research double module where they explore a specific part of international business under the guidance of a lecturer.
There is also an option to study abroad for a semester. Students learn through lectures, smaller seminars, workshops, and case studies. They practise legal research, problem-solving, business-law negotiation, and communication. Pro bono activities and simulations give them hands-on experience. Assessment happens through several forms, including timed written exams that test core legal knowledge, coursework that allows students to explore legal-business issues in depth, and group tasks that help improve teamwork. Students get regular feedback so they can track their progress and build strong legal and business skills.
