Course overview
This BSc Psychology with Criminology at the University of Sussex combines world-class psychological science with criminology to explore how individuals behave and how societies respond to crime and deviance. In this course, students will study foundational topics in psychology, such as cognitive and developmental processes, and apply these to criminological themes including radicalisation, victimisation, and criminal justice policy.
Assessment is varied and includes essays, lab reports, research projects, and a final-year independent study where students design and conduct their own research. The course gives access to specialised facilities such as human psychophysiology labs and a child-development research suite.
