BEng Mechanical Engineering with Robotics

University of Sussex

Course overview

This undergraduate degree (BEng) in Robotic Engineering gets students ready for an important, fast-changing industry. The course is special because it brings together electrical engineering and computer science. Students will learn both the practical and academic skills for areas like machine learning, motion control, and making robots decide things on their own.

Students will get great programming skills in languages such as C and C++, as well as learning about sensors and computer vision. The course is fully approved by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), which helps students become Incorporated Engineers. Students will use world-class facilities, including a special Robot Arena, to test the things they create.
