MEng Astronautics and Space Engineering with placement

Course Overview

This integrated Master's (MEng) degree combines study at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It prepares students for employment in the rapidly expanding space industry, making use of the University of Surrey's four decades of leadership in designing small satellites. The course is formally accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), which means it satisfies all educational requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer.

Students will put their learning into practice by completing project work, working closely with experts at the Surrey Space Centre. This gives them direct, hands-on experience with the technology used in actual space missions. The MEng degree includes an extra Master's year and an award-winning Professional Training placement, which is a fast way to get an advanced qualification.
