MEng Aerospace Engineering Aerospace

Course Overview

The MEng (Master of Engineering) program is a four- or five-year integrated course that builds on the Bachelor's degree, giving students a direct route to a Master's qualification while covering advanced, specialised subjects such as space systems, aircraft engines (propulsion), computational fluid mechanics, and advanced materials science. This programme is fully accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) and provides all the necessary academic requirements for graduates to register as a Chartered Engineer (CEng).

Teaching staff are world-leading experts who deliver instruction through engaging lectures, practical laboratory sessions, and work in the Flight Simulator Suite. Students are assessed through a combination of written examinations, comprehensive coursework, oral presentations, and substantial group and individual design projects. An optional professional training placement year can be undertaken, providing valuable industrial experience before graduation.
