BSc Business Management with Human Resource Management with foundation year and placement
Course overview
This course helps you understand how to manage people and why employees are important in a business. It is approved by the CIPD, which means you can get a head start in your HR career. You will learn how to create fair and lasting ways to hire, train, support, and improve staff performance.
The course has a foundation year if you don't meet the usual entry rules. After that, you will do a placement year to get real work experience. The school year has two 15-week terms with classes, study time, and tests. You will study things like how people act in organisations, international HR, employee relationships, and main business ideas.
Entry requirements
Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other important information regarding their studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CV along with their applications to show their work experience.
Grade Requirements
- For the regular BSc (Hons) course, you will usually need ABB. If you want to do the BSc (Hons) with a foundation year, you will normally need CCC. - You need to have at least a Grade C (4) in both English Language and Mathematics at GCSE (or an equivalent) when you send in your application.
English Proficiency
- Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds need to score 6.5 overall in IELTS Academic, with 6.0 in Writing and 5.5 in each other element.
- Equivalent test scores from PTE Academic (67) or Duolingo English Test (120) are also accepted.
