Grade Requirements

• Applicants should aim for AAA at A Levels (Maths and Physics mandatory) or AAAAB at Scottish Highers (Maths and Physics/Engineering Science at A).
• Advanced entry to Year 2: A*AA at A Levels (Maths A, Physics A) or A1A1A2A2 at Highers (Maths A1, Physics A1).
• The International Baccalaureate requires 36 points overall, with HL6 in Maths and Physics.
• Other global equivalents are accepted.

English Proficiency

• If English is not your native tongue, you will need IELTS Academic 6.0 overall, with no band below 5.5.
• TOEFL or PTE equivalents are also accepted; refer to the university’s website for full details.

International students will pay £29,350 for the MEng Naval Architecture with Ocean Engineering.
