Overview
The MEng Electrical & Mechanical Engineering with International Study is a four- to five-year MEng programme that equips students to gain expertise in both electrical and mechanical engineering, further preparing them for various engineering roles. The curriculum features important topics such as analogue and digital circuits, mechanical system design, thermodynamics, software engineering, and practical projects like fuel cells and hydrogen-powered vehicles.
In the fourth year, students have the opportunity to study abroad at a partner institution to gain an international experience that counts towards the degree, without extra requirements. Entry Requirements

Grade Requirements:
- ABB to BBB (including Maths and Physics) for Year 1 entry. While Year 2 entry needs A*AA to AAB (including Maths, Physics, and Computing/Electronics).
- 32-36 points (Maths HL5, Physics HL5) for Year 1 entry. Year 2 entry requires 34-38 points (Maths HL6, Physics HL6, Computer Science HL6).
English Proficiency:
- An IELTS overall score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any component.
- Or equivalent qualifications, such as TOEFL or Pearson PTE, are considered.
