BSc Microbiology Pharmacology
Course overview
The University of Strathclyde BSc Hons Microbiology and Pharmacology will provide you with an understanding of the smallest living organisms, including viruses, bacteria, and fungi, along with the impact that drugs and other chemicals have on the body. The course will equip students with a career in the pharmaceutical and healthcare fields. It gives a good foundation in molecular and cellular areas of biology and pharmacology, and the opportunity to focus on neuropharmacology and industrial immunology.
The curriculum has practical laboratory sessions where students acquire skills in microbial culture, drug screening and pharmacological analysis.
