BSc Immunology Pharmacology

Course Overview

This degree looks at both Immunology and Pharmacology. Immunology is about how the body's defence system works and how it is affected by diseases. Pharmacology is the study of how drugs and other chemicals affect the body. The course is supported by strong research connections with industry, the NHS, and partners globally.

The course is a full-time, four-year programme. Students can change to other related courses within the Biomolecular Science discipline during their studies. In the final Honours year, students complete a research project in one of their specialisations, which is written up as a thesis. This practical, research-led approach prepares students for a career in science and other fields.
