MSc Extended Reality

The MSc Extended Reality at the University of Portsmouth is a specialised programme that helps students take advantage of emerging industries such as immersive technology, including virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and other emerging XR (extended reality) systems. 

MSc Extended Reality in the University of Portsmouth is designed to mould students into professional designers and developers of XR projects. Students will also gain technical skills and learn how to apply them in real-world scenarios.

Grade Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree (2nd Class Honours or above) in a relevant subject or equivalent professional experience/qualifications.

English Language Requirements:

• For international applicants or those whose first language is not English, an English-language qualification such as IELTS 6.0 overall (no component below 5.5) or recognised equivalent. 

The tuition fee for international students studying MSc Extended Reality at the University of Portsmouth is £18,600 per year. Please note that tuition fees are subject to annual increases.
