MSc Forensic Science
Course overview
This MSc in Forensic Science is a one-year, full-time Master's degree. It is for graduates who have a good science qualification and want to become experts in forensic science. The course is approved by the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences. It combines classroom learning and practical work, covering everything from managing a crime scene to advanced forensic research.
This programme gets you ready for a professional career in the criminal or civil legal systems, the police, or forensic work. Students learn advanced ways to analyse evidence in the laboratory and gain the leadership and management skills required. This prepares them to write high-quality, expert reports that can be properly used as evidence in court.

- Candidates must have at least a second-class honours degree (2:2) in forensic science or a related subject such as Chemistry, Biology, or Physics.
