LLM Business Law with Work Experience

University of Hertfordshire

Course overview

This LLM Business Law with Work Experience at the University of Hertfordshire is a postgraduate degree that lasts two years full-time. It is designed to give students expert knowledge and hands-on experience in business law. The course includes core subjects like Corporate Governance and lets students choose another compulsory subject from areas such as Company Law or Employment Law. The whole programme is made for people who want to become specialists in commercial law and make the most of the university’s links with the legal industry.

The second year includes a work experience subject (module) where students must complete 200 hours of real, legally-focused work that the School approves. Learning is very hands-on (practical) and led by experts, using things like group activities and role-playing to build skills such as negotiation. Their final grades are based only on coursework and practical tasks, meaning they will not have any final exams.
