MSc Adult Nursing - Preregistration

University of East Anglia UEA

Course overview

This two-year accelerated Master of Science programme is for graduates from any field who wish to qualify quickly as an Adult Nurse. It blends academic study with extensive hands-on practice, using your prior life experience to prepare you for professional registration. The programme is built around the four key pillars of Advanced Practice: Clinical Practice, Research, Education, and Leadership.

Learning combines university-based sessions, simulated practice, and placements across various healthcare settings, ensuring rigorous training in line with the NHS Constitution. Assessment methods include a final-year dissertation and practice assessments, in which proficiency is measured against the standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
