University of Dundee

Course overview

The LLB Law (Scots) with French at the University of Dundee leads to a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, qualifying students to train as solicitors or advocates in Scotland. Alternatively, students may apply for a Dual Qualifying degree, allowing qualification to practise law in England, Wales, or Northern Ireland. Additionally, students will study one French module per semester, with options for beginners or those with prior experience.

Students will enjoy encouraging and supportive teaching, with a strong emphasis placed on group teaching by qualified lawyers. In the final year, students will work on their dissertation, which is independent but supervised, on an elective topic.
