LLB Law English NI with Energy Law
Course overview
This three-year LLB Law (English/NI) with Energy Law at the University of Dundee is designed to teach students the main laws they need to work as a lawyer in England, Wales, or Northern Ireland. The course mixes general law subjects with a deep look at the laws and rules for the modern energy business, which includes clean energy, gas, and nuclear power. When students finish, they will be prepared for the first stage of the lawyer's exam (SQE) in England and Wales. This degree is also approved if they want to train to be a lawyer in Northern Ireland.
Students will also have time for group work and studying on their own, which includes taking part in discussions and debates. Students will have special careers talks with an expert throughout their degree to help them build skills like research, analysis, and problem-solving. They will be tested in different ways, and their teachers are chosen because they are experts in their subject and research, with many also having worked as lawyers.
