BSc Accounting and Finance with integrated Foundation

Course Overview

The BSc Accounting and Finance with Integrated Foundation at the University of Buckingham is a three-year programme designed for students who might not meet the usual entry requirements for a standard degree. The foundation year helps students develop important academic skills and knowledge, setting them up for the main accounting and finance courses they will take later.

The course covers various topics, including auditing, financial accounting, taxation, management accounting, and corporate law. Students also learn skills like critical thinking, quantitative methods, and decision-making. The programme aims to give a solid foundation in both the theory and practice of accounting and finance.

Graduates are well-prepared for careers in accounting, finance, and business management. Additionally, this degree provides exemptions from professional accounting qualifications like ACCA and CIMA, helping students become certified accountants more quickly.
