MSc Project Management

Course Overview

The MSc Project Management programme at the University of Law is designed to help students gain the skills needed to successfully manage complex projects in various industries. Students can choose to take the course full-time for 1 year or part-time for 2 years. There is also an optional Professional Practice Year available. 

The programme is accredited by The Chartered Management Institute, ensuring that it meets high educational standards. Throughout the course, they study core modules such as Global Business Strategy, Project & Organisational Strategy, Managing Programmes, and Contemporary Issues in Business.

Entry Requirements

  • Applicants who do not have formal qualifications must possess at least five years of relevant professional managerial experience. They may also be asked to submit two professional references.

  • Furthermore, a formal interview will be necessary as part of the application process.

Grade Requirements:

  • Applicants should have at least a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.

English Proficiency:

  • Non-native English speakers must achieve an overall IELTS score of 6.5, ensuring that no skill falls below 5.5.

  • Equivalent scores from tests like TOEFL IBT and PTE Academic will be accepted as well.

Cost of Study

For the 2025/26 academic year, international students enrolled in the University of Law's MSc Project Management programme will pay a tuition fee of £18,500 per year at London campuses, while the fee at non-London campuses will be £17,000 per year. Please note that these fees are reviewed and may be subject to annual adjustments.

Scholarships

One such opportunity is the Early Bird Discount, which provides a £500 reduction in tuition fees for students who pay early. Undergraduate students have the chance to apply for the Set for Success Scholarship, worth £2,000, while postgraduate students enrolled in business courses can benefit from the Business First Scholarship, which offers £5,000.

Additionally, there is the International Bursary, which supports students with financial assistance ranging from £2,500 to £3,000 per year.
