Course overview

The MSc Cyber Security Management at the University of Law is a one-year full-time postgraduate degree (or two years part-time) offered on campus or online. It is designed for graduates who want to transition into the strategic aspect of cybersecurity. Students will study how businesses manage risk, protect data, control networks, and secure cloud systems. Modules include Global Business Strategy, Data Security, Data Design Management, CyberSecurity for Business, and a Business Simulation Project.

The course is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), so graduates may also apply for a Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership. Teaching is delivered across campuses (London Moorgate, Manchester, Birmingham) or wholly online for flexibility. The design of the programme places a strong focus on real-world relevance, how to lead cybersecurity efforts, and how to communicate with senior management.  The teaching uses case studies, workshop-style classes, hands-on tasks, and real business problems.
