Course overview
Start dates: 1st October, 1st January, 1st April, 1st July. The MSc by Research in Business Management is a one year (full-time) research degree which offers complete flexibility through its wholly research based mode of study. You will have the freedom to choose your own area of research within business management, with the support of the School’s world-class academics.
Blending independent research with expert academic supervision, this course provides an advanced understanding of contemporary trends and issues in Management and associated areas. Whether you’re interested in consumer behaviour, global business strategies or human resource management; you will have an opportunity to produce a piece of research which could have a significant impact on a particular area of business. The course itself is designed to prepare you for a career in academia, business or further postgraduate or professional study.

First Class - £5,000 per year; Second Class, First division - £3,000 per year; Second Class, Second division - £1,000 per year; Taught Masters to Research Degree - £3,000 per year subject to satisfactory progress.
Swansea University International Postgraduate Research Excellence Scholarship (SUIPRES)
The SUIPRES Scholarship covers the difference between the International and the Home tuition fee rate for the duration of the PhD/Professional Doctorate programme.
