Course overview

The BSc Business Management (Modern Languages) is for those interested in both business management and modern languages. In the first year, students explore various languages through taster sessions, allowing them to experience Mandarin, French, Italian, German, and Spanish before selecting one language as their focus. As studies progress, students will learn to apply their chosen foreign language in a professional environment, preparing them for global business opportunities.

Assessment methods for this programme are done through business reports, group presentations, and reflective logs, alongside examinations and essays, helping students develop research, analytical, and presentation abilities. This course is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and offers options to work for a year abroad or a year in industry.
