BSc Business Management with Marketing with Foundation
Course overview
This four-year programme begins with a Foundation Year to build the necessary core skills and knowledge for students who do not have the required qualifications for direct entry. After the foundation year, the degree portion (BSc Honours) is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), ensuring students gain strategic management and creative marketing skills to become future leaders. The course focuses on both business success and sustainability, considering climate change and ethical responsibility.
This course focuses on practical learning by having students work on real projects for companies like Red Funnel and B&Q, which lets them use their knowledge and get valuable experience. Learning is checked using coursework and interactive classes, helping students learn how to understand customers, run strong marketing campaigns, and grow a business. Students can also choose to do a placement year to gain even more professional work experience.
Entry requirements
Candidates are required to submit a personal statement in which they discuss their reasons for applying for the course and other relevant information regarding their studies. A relevant academic and/or employer reference is also required. Students have the option to upload their CV along with their applications to demonstrate their work experience.
