BA Digital Marketing and Business Analytics
Course overview
This undergraduate degree is the only BA Digital Marketing and Business Analytics course offered in Scotland, providing a combination of technical and creative skills. It is designed to equip students with the ability to manage, design, and implement analytics projects within a modern digital marketing environment. In the third year, students can undertake a professional work placement lasting up to a full year, or choose to study abroad with a partner institution.
Teaching involves traditional lectures and tutorials, industry-led workshops, and significant live client projects. A key feature is the 'Digital Marketing Agency' module in the final two years, offering real-world experience. Assessment is based on coursework, comprising reports, practical portfolios, oral presentations, and a final research dissertation in the final year.
Entry requirements
Candidates need to submit a personal statement and relevant information regarding their studies, an academic and/or employer reference, and their CV to show their work experience.
Grade Requirements:
- Candidates need a BCC in A-level or equivalent.
- Other International qualifications that are equivalent to an A-level are also accepted.
English Proficiency:
- Candidates need an overall score of 6.0 in the IELTS Academic test, with no component less than 5.5.
- Other English language test scores, such as PTE Academic and TOEFL iBT, are accepted, amongst others.
