Course overview

The BA Media Production at Nottingham Trent University is a three-year programme which introduces students to the world of digital media production. Whether as a new world digital media producer or a seasoned content creator, the BA Media Production degree will introduce students to industry-standard tools and practices, refine their technical and creative skills, and help them produce high-quality and distinct work which cuts through a media-saturated society.

This programme is refined for film and television enthusiasts, those with a keen eye for detail, and all-round creatives eager to bring their ideas to life. Entry requirements

The following are the requirements for prospective students:

Grade Requirements:

  • UCAS Tariff: International students are required to score 104 - 112 points
  • Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) – DMM from a BTEC Extended Diploma

English Language Requirements:

  • IELTS: International students are required to score a maximum of 6.0 and a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
  • PTE Academic: International students are required to score at least 59 in any element.
  • TOEFL iBT, including ‘Home Edition: International students are required to score an overall score of 72 with at least 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening, 20 in Speaking, and 17 in Writing
