BSc Occupational Therapy
Course overview
The BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy course at London South Bank University can be taken either full-time for three years or part-time for four years. It aims to teach students both the science and practical skills of occupational therapy. This helps them learn how to use activities for therapy, assist with recovery, and improve communication. The course includes hands-on experience through placements and uses special labs with fake living spaces and artistic tools.
The programme uses a blend of learning methods for teaching and testing. It is approved by the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, and after graduating, students can become registered occupational therapists with the Health and Care Professions Council. LSBU's Occupational Therapy course is well-regarded, ranking number one in London by the Complete University Guide 2025.
