BSc Psychology including foundation year

Course Overview

The BSc Psychology (including foundation year) at London Metropolitan University is a great option if you do not have the qualifications needed to start the standard three-year Psychology degree. The foundation year will give you the vital study skills you need for university, including research, data analysis, essay writing, and critical thinking. You will graduate with the same award and title as students on the standard course.

Part of the foundation year will include studying with students from other foundation year courses. This will allow you to expand your network and discuss topics with people who have different academic perspectives.

In the following three years of your studies, you will join students on the Psychology BSc (Hons) course. You will learn the same content and have the same choice of modules. If you decide that you would like to change your specialism at the end of your foundation year, you will have the flexibility to do so.

In addition to your lectures and seminars, you will be able to get further support to improve your academic ability through different workshops. Your academic tutor will also lead one-on-one sessions where you can discuss your progress and your work. Studying Psychology with a foundation year at London Metropolitan University is a great way to start your academic journey.
