About University

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is a respected public university in Liverpool, England. It was founded in 1823 as the Liverpool Mechanics' School of Arts. Later, it was renamed Liverpool Polytechnic and then became a university in 1992. The university gets its name from Sir John Moores, a well-known local businessman who started the company Littlewoods.

Entry Requirements for Indian Students

  • Non-native speakers of English are to show proficiency in English by having an IELTS score of 6.5 with at least 5.5 in each of the four components.
