BSc Sport Nutrition with Foundation Year

Course Overview

The BSc Sport Nutrition with Foundation Year programme gives students who do not meet the entry requirements for the main course a solid starting point. The programme will teach students anatomy, physiology and sport and nutrition fundamentals.

The course modules cover Health and Wellbeing, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Skills in Sports, Practical delivery in Sport Physical Activity, Behaviours in Sport and Physical Activity and finally, A Project in Sports and Nutrition, which will help the students apply what they have learnt so far using labs, workshops, field trips and practical sessions.

After completing the foundation year, students will move to the main degree, and they will learn practically with modules such as Principles of Human Nutrition, Biochemistry and Metabolism, Exercise Physiology and Food Technology and Development. Entry Requirements for Indian Students

  • A Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English Language, Mathematics and two science subjects is also accepted.

English Proficiency:

  • Candidates should submit an overall score of 6.0 in the IELTS test, with no score below 5.5.
  • TOEFL and PTE are also accepted test scores.

Cost of Study

For the academic year 2025/26, the tuition fee for the BSc Sport Nutrition with Foundation Year programme at Liverpool John Moores University is £18,250.

Scholarships
