BSc Computer Science with Cyber Security

The BSc Computer Science with Cyber Security programme gives a detailed understanding of computer science principles with a professional understanding of cybersecurity. This programme teaches students the skills to protect computer systems and networks from cyber threats both in theory and practice. 

The programme will teach students how to design, implement, and lead efforts related to cyber intelligence, resilience, threat reduction, and how to handle sensitive information and keep it safe. This information includes government regulation and ethics, and students can work on real projects and learn from tech industry experts.

Students will learn how to think like hackers and develop better security measures against them. The degree also provides opportunities to get professional certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and CompTIA Penetration Tester (PenTest), which can help students stand out in the job market.

Grade Requirements: 

• Candidates need a minimum requirement in 5 subjects, with at least 2 A-levels or similar qualifications.
• A grade 4 in GCSE English Language and Mathematics, or a similar qualification.

English Proficiency:

• Candidates can submit an overall score of 6.0 in the IELTS Academic test, with no component score below 5.5.
• PTE and TOEFL are also accepted.

The tuition fee for international students studying the BSc Computer Science with Cyber Security programme from Leeds Trinity University is  £12,000  for the 2025/26 academic year.

Leeds Trinity University offers scholarships and awards to support students in their academics such as, The Leeds Trinity Bursary which provides a cash award of £500 to eligible UK students with a household income of £25,000 or less, paid in the second year of their undergraduate course, Academic excellent students who have AAB at A-level or equivalent qualifications can receive the Academic Achievement Award of £1,000, which doesn't require an application. The Sanctuary Scholarship is available to forced migrants in the UK, covering the full cost of tuition fees and providing an additional £10,000 per year towards study costs.
