Course Overview

The MEng Aerospace Engineering (Space Technology) is a four-year combined Master's programme that offers a thorough research of aerospace engineering with a major in space-related applications. The course is to help students with advanced skills and knowledge in areas such as rocket propulsion, spacecraft design, and space mission planning.

It is detailed in studies and very practical, which prepares graduates to become leaders in the aerospace and space industries. Students will be taught through lectures, laboratory sessions, and computational workshops using industry-standard software.

Students will be assessed through challenging individual and group projects, including design projects in the final year that will apply their understanding to practical engineering problems. The programme is accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Society, so it meets the academic requirements for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
