BSc Cosmetic Science

Course Overview

The BSc (Hons) Cosmetic Science course gives students a strong foundation in the chemical and biological sciences needed for the cosmetics industry. Entry Requirements for Indian Students

When applying, applicants will need to submit a personal statement that explains why they want to take this course and includes any other important details about their education. A reference from a past teacher or employer is also necessary. Applicants can also choose to upload their CV with their application to show their work experience.

Grade Requirements:

  • To be accepted, applicants should have at least BBB in three A-levels, with a grade B in either Chemistry or Biology. The university might also make a lower offer of BCC to some students.
  • Additionally, the university accepts a BTEC Extended Diploma with grades of DDM. All applicants must have a grade 4 or C in their GCSE Maths, or a similar Level 2 Maths qualification.

English Proficiency:

  • Applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds are required to qualify in the English language. This can be met by achieving a grade 4 or C in GCSE English.
  • Alternatively, international students may need to score an overall 6.0 in IELTS, with a minimum of 5.5 in each section, or submit equivalent test scores from an approved provider.
