Heriot-Watt University

Course overview

The MSc Reservoir Evaluation and Management at Heriot-Watt University is a full-time, one-year programme for students interested in advancing their knowledge of reservoir engineering and geoscience. This course is taught by experts from the Institute of GeoEnergy Engineering and includes important topics like reservoir engineering, sedimentology, formation evaluation, well testing, and geomechanics.

Students learn to analyse and manage hydrocarbon reservoirs using advanced software and techniques commonly used in the industry.
