LLB Law with Criminology

Course Overview

This Bachelor of Laws (Honours) at Edge Hill University course combines main legal studies with interesting crime concepts. It prepares students for many jobs in the criminal justice system. It is a proper Law Degree that gives a full understanding of law and crime. Students will look at current real-life examples and learn about the police, criminal courts, prisons, and services for young people, understanding how they affect society.

The course offers hands-on learning, including practice in a simulated courtroom (Moot Court Room), helping in a Law Clinic giving legal advice, and doing practical exercises in a 'Crime House' that acts like crime scenes. Teachers are current and former legal and crime professionals, as well as well-known academics from around the world. There are also chances for work experience and trips to important courts.
