Cranfield University

MSc Aerospace Dynamics

Cranfield University

Course overview

This Masters course helps students learn key information about how air moves, how vehicles move, how to control them, and how to use computer models. Students will get hands-on experience measuring, studying, and making computer models of airflows and aircraft. This programme is perfect if you're interested in designing aircraft, controlling air movement, measuring flows, or understanding how planes fly and how to control them.

The course is split into two main parts: lessons and your own research project. You can choose to focus on either Flight Dynamics (how planes fly) or Aerodynamics (how air moves around planes). Cranfield University has been teaching advanced aerospace engineering since 1946, giving students a special chance to fly in the National Flying Laboratory Centre's aircraft as part of their studies.

Entry requirements

To apply for this course, applicants need to send a personal statement. In this, you will discuss why you want to study the course and other details about your studies.
